Ashton Woods’ Jay Kallos Inducted Into 2018 Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence

Builder Magazine recognizes Kallos for commitment to cutting-edge work in residential architecture

ATLANTA (Sept. 7, 2018) – Ashton Woods, one of the nation’s largest private homebuilders, announced today its Senior Vice President of Architecture, Jay Kallos was inducted into the 2018 Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence. The award recognizes the best architects, builders and designers who have made an outstanding contribution to residential design. Kallos along with three other inductees were recognized at the HIVE Design conference on Thursday, September 6, 2018, in Washington D.C.

During his 12-year tenure at Ashton Woods, Kallos designed homes that pushed the boundaries of home design in communities across the 12 markets in which Ashton Woods builds. Since joining Ashton Woods, the brand has been recognized with countless awards for design and architecture, including the highest awards at the National Association of Home Builders Nationals awards, the Southeast Building Conference’s Aurora awards and more. In addition to the numerous design awards, Ashton Woods was also recognized as Builder of the Year in 2017 by Builder and Developer magazine and is consistently recognized as one of America’s Most Trusted Builders by the Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted^® Builder Study. Prior to Ashton Woods, Kallos served in multiple positions with another national homebuilder. He is a graduate of the Southern Polytechnic State University.
